Sunwise Automotive Group is extremely proud to have not one, but two Tesla Approved Collision Centers. Both Sunwise Collision Center Concord and Sunwise Collision Center Berkeley are Tesla Certified collision centers. Being Tesla approved allows our centers to provide the highest quality maintenance and auto repair possible. How Sunwise Collision Centers Became Tesla Certified

Obtaining the status of Tesla Certified collision centers was a really big deal for us. Living in the Bay Area, we see Tesla cars everywhere that we go. We know that purchasing a Tesla was a big deal for you, so it's a big deal for us to have the most skilled Tesla trained technicians using the best Tesla approved equipment while working on your vehicle.

To begin the Tesla approval process, we needed to purchase the correct equipment required by Tesla. After a financial evaluation for both Sunwise Collision Centers, we were ready to make the investment. Examples of this Tesla approved equipment are frame benches, jig fixtures, specialty riveting equipment, Tesla approved welders, dent repair station, subframe removal equipment, and other Tesla tools. Next, each of our technicians were required to undergo 20-30 hours of training, studying everything Tesla and what goes into working on one. Once all of the equipment was installed and each technician was trained in Tesla's best practices, we were ready to announce that we had completed the Tesla approval process. All-in-all, the process took us about 3 months' time, and an investment of over $70,000 in equipment. This was a really exciting moment for our team, and we couldn't wait to get people's dream cars back on the road.
